Positions Up for Election
- Preside at all conferences and meetings and enforce observance of the constitution and rules of the Association.
- Be responsible for the administration of the Association.
- Act as one of the responsible financial officers and co-sign financial instruments.
- Cast a deciding vote in case of a tie.
- Constitute committees and appoint members/chairpersons.
- Act as official spokesperson and handle media contracts/press statements.
- Preside over meetings in the absence of the Chairperson and enjoy same privileges while doing so.
- Perform duties delegated by the Chairperson or assigned by membership/Board.
- If Chairperson and Vice Chairperson fail to preside, members may appoint an ad hoc chairperson.
- Keep and maintain adequate and correct books and accounts.
- Provide financial statements and reports as required by law/Board.
- Have custody of funds and securities and disburse as authorized.
- Render accounts and reports on the financial condition of the Association.
- Prepare and certify financial statements.
- Bill members for annual dues and notify Board of arrears.
- Obtain and maintain insurance policies.
- Provide required public filings and certified audits.
- Chair the Resource Mobilization Task Force and supervise the resource mobilization team.
- Identify and share funding opportunities with the secretariat.
- Assist proposal writing and develop a resource mobilization work plan.
- Monitor donor reporting and grant expenditure deadlines.
- Liaise with committees to secure sponsors for programs.
- Chair the Technical and Training Committee.
- Identify training needs and design appropriate training content.
- Evaluate training content for quality.
- Identify capacity building opportunities and advise on best practices.
- Oversee all legal processes of the Association.
- Coordinate and guide MoUs with partners.
- Monitor execution of the Associationâs Constitution.
- Serve as first point of contact for members and prospective members.
- Manage the full member life-cycle.

Eligibility to Vote
Membership Status
- Hub is a registered member of the Association.
- Hub has not resigned, been suspended, or expelled.
- Hub appears on the official register of members.
Financial Compliance
- All annual subscriptions/dues fully paid.
- Hub not in arrears for more than one (1) year.
- Status is âin good standingâ at the time of election.
Representation & Voting Rights
- Hub represented by its recognized and authorized representative.
- Each hub has one (1) vote only.
Meeting & Process Requirements
- Vote cast during a properly convened AGM or Special General Meeting.
- Quorum: at least two-thirds of registered & paid-up members.
- Voting uses approved method.
Exclusions
- Members of the Election Management Committee do not vote.
Nomination Process
How to nominate: Submit your nomination via the official online form by 16 Feb 2026. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
General nomination eligibility criteria
- Hub is a registered ACIH member in good standing.
- All subscriptions to ACIH are fully paid by nomination deadline.
- Representing a member hub with at least 12 consecutive months of active membership.
- Not suspended or expelled in the last 3 years.
- Only one representative per hub contesting per election cycle.
- Not contesting more than one position.
- Has not served more than two consecutive terms in the same position.
- Submission of all required nomination documents.

Voting Process
- Voting uses a secure electronic voting system with oversight from the Elections Management Committee.
- Eligible voters receive secure credentials via email.
- Voting opens during the AGM on 5 Mar 2026.
- Each eligible hub casts one vote per position.
- Votes are confidential and anonymized.

- Respectful, issue-based campaigning
- No misuse of Association resources
- No intimidation, bribery, or misinformation
- Violations may lead to disqualification or disciplinary action

Official results will be published on this page following validation by the Elections Committee, and formally ratified during the AGM.
